As always, a quick intro.
I’m starting to write my last short post for December, just before heading to Melbourne for the Blockies Awards Night. The event is organised by the Digital Economy Council of Australia (DECA) – an organisation dedicated to shaping Australia’s blockchain and digital asset ecosystem.
By the way, I was nominated in 3 categories. I am a finalist at The Blockies 2025 in three categories:
Blockchain Leader of the Year
Diversity & Inclusion Leader
Rising Star
So, fingers crossed! Whatever happens, I will be happy, being shortlisted as a finalist is an award in itself.
It was not a bad year generally.
This year has been a productive one for many of us, myself included. I contributed a chapter titled “LedgerMed: Recognising the Perfect Ledger for Patient-Centric Healthcare through Blockchain” to the book Decentralised Healing.
I was invited to join the Innovation Committee of Western Australia at PropTech Hub WA, with a mission to connect innovation and industry.
I also took a position on the board committee of the Perth Linux Users Group Inc. (PLUG).
In addition, I was invited to be a mentor at Spacecubed, focusing on Blockchain, Web3, AI, RWA, DeFi, and Digital Assets.
This year, I was honoured to receive the PropTech Champion of Western Australia 2025 title as the Founder and Director of Spektrumlab Pty Ltd and Spektrumlab.io.
At the same time, we were awarded the Global Go-Getter Award at the 2025 Cygnet West PropTech Awards, where I proudly serve as one of the Ambassadors for Blocksquare.
I also stepped into a foundational role as a Founding Member of the Western Australian AI Hub.
Finally, I became Head of Growth WA for the Polish Australian Chamber of Commerce , an appointment I’m especially proud of, considering my dual citizenship as both Polish and Australian.
On top of that, I have been organising and attending many innovation and technology-oriented events.
Mentoring and connecting people through my vast network of valuable relationships is also a significant part of what I do. There is nothing more powerful than a strong network in a non-centralised world, in my opinion. Decentralisation is the driving force of real progress. It should be the innovation engine of our current evolution.
As I have read many times, the next revolution will be decentralised. Combined with well-designed AI, it has the potential to help solve many of the critical challenges we face today and those we are destined to face tomorrow.
Talking about Spektrumlab Pty Ltd.
People often ask questions: so, what are you actually doing? What is your products or services are you offering. Some even asking what are you selling? I am not selling anything, mate! No hooks, no sellouts!
I’m working to lead future-focused thinking, bridge the digital divide, support informed decision-making, and help people connect across a vast international network.
I offer quality mentoring and networking in the fields of innovative and emerging technologies. Legacy is also a key focus in my work.
As I mentioned during my last presentation titled: “From Awards to Action, The Next Chapter in Web3, AI, and Human-Centric Innovation” – Money is not everything, Legacy matters too.
That doesn’t mean I don’t need money. I’m not a robot! We humans, have our needs, and income is a basic necessity. It’s the fuel for everyday transactions that come with living an organic life. Kind of like gas fees in blockchain: if you want to transact, you have to pay. That part is clear.
But even so, my focus remains on Legacy first!
During my 61 years of life, I have discovered that combining Old School Values with Innovative Technology models can create the kind of ecosystem we’re all looking for. On one end, it’s rooted in human values: beliefs, family, friendship, and honour. On the other end, it’s driven by hyperactive objects and all kinds of coding. I deeply believe that this approach to using emerging technologies can be valuable to all of us involved.
Finally about Spektrumlab.io
Since the beginning of our website, 97 articles have been written and published – 49 by generous guest post writers and 48 by me.
I would like to thank all our guest writers for offering their time and valuable thoughts. We are all benefiting from this independent sharing of knowledge. Also, a big thank you to all the readers for your patience in reading my posts.
I’m doing my best to share what I have learned, so that together we can help build a better world. One person alone may not make a big difference, but together we are stronger and capable of much more.
Let’s keep reading, writing, and sharing relevant knowledge within our communities, especially about proper innovation and emerging technologies. Welcome the new, and preserve the old, valuable truths.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May the power of emerging technology be with us!
Cheers, The author Jacek Korneluk.
