Project Gorgonia – Afterlife Alternatives

Initiated: 2021

Project Gorgonia explores a technologically grounded vision of digital continuity beyond biological life. It examines how identity, memory, and genomic information might be securely preserved, interactively represented, and responsibly governed using emerging technologies.

At its core, Gorgonia proposes a multi-layered framework that ranges from immutable digital presence and AI-driven virtual representations to blockchain-secured identity management and structured legacy governance. It also considers the long-term theoretical possibility of biological reconstruction based on securely stored genomic data, should future scientific capability and regulatory environments permit such developments.

The framework integrates:

• Artificial intelligence for behavioural modelling
• Blockchain-secured identity and immutability
• Smart contract governance
• Immersive virtual environments
• Long-term custodial and DAO-based oversight

Gorgonia is intentionally visionary yet disciplined. It does not seek to replace spiritual, cultural, or religious belief systems. Rather, it explores technology-enabled legacy preservation and ethical posthumous interaction within clearly defined regulatory and societal boundaries.

The initiative remains in structured ideation and governance design stages and is open to long-term research dialogue and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Project LedgerMed – The Medical Lego Solution

Initiated: 2023

LedgerMed is an advanced ideation-stage digital health infrastructure concept designed to reimagine healthcare delivery through the convergence of:

• Blockchain-secured medical records
• AI-assisted diagnostics
• Digital twins
• IoT-enabled monitoring
• Automated logistics systems

Developed in response to Western Australia’s “The Challenge – Reimagining Regional and Remote Health Care,” LedgerMed addresses:

• Workforce shortages
• Fragmented medical data
• Inequitable access
• Diagnostic delays
• Supply chain inefficiencies

Rather than digitising legacy systems, LedgerMed introduces a composable “Medical Lego” architecture –  a modular, upgradeable backbone enabling interoperable, secure, and scalable healthcare ecosystems.

From a public perspective, LedgerMed prioritises equitable access, data security, and system transparency.

From a strategic and investment perspective, it represents a scalable Web3-aligned digital health infrastructure layer designed for phased deployment and multi-stakeholder collaboration.

The project is currently positioned between Innovation Maturity Levels 0–2 and prepared for structured Proof-of-Concept progression.

LedgerMed is featured in the international publication Decentralised Healing, including a dedicated chapter authored by Jacek Korneluk on blockchain-enabled patient-centric healthcare systems.
