Why Spektrum and Spektrumlab? A few extra words from the Author.
To my Dear Readers and website Visitors:
In Poland:
I remember vividly the time of the birth of my very first and biggest startup, ZDL Spektrum S.C., a private pathology service provider in Poland from 1994 to 2008. It was an awesome one-off never to forget experience.
About two years later Spektrumlab-domain and Spektrumlab-website came to life. It was a bit in the early days to run a professional pathology website, nevertheless, I was always keen on pioneering and known as an innovator.
It was a good idea and valuable project, but eventually, I decided to pass the torch and settled down in the beautiful land of Australia.
I also, try to have a clear vision of what will happen in the close future. I collected good, independent, and relevant data to feed my mental mind model in my head, a bit like AI learning models doing now. And usually, I was right!
Nowadays, it’s crystal clear that every pathology service needs a fantastic website, and internet users are enthusiastic about it.
I sold my beloved pathology company by smooth acquisition to another private pathology business when decide to settle in Australia. I also deactivated my Spektrumlab domains which I grossly regret every second day.
In Melbourne:
Living in Melbourne, I discovered a new passion for Orchids and Bromeliads, and thus, SpektrumGarden-domain sprouted into existence. I couldn’t resist a little twist in spelling, using “K” instead of the typical English “C.” For me, born in Poland, Spektrum and Spektrumlab just felt more meaningful than the standard “Spectrum.”
Maybe the K was like the first letter of Korneluk, which is my family name.
Whatever the reason to reach this blog we need to follow KKKK pronounce – Spektrum I mean – not Spectrum.
Because I was born and lived the majority of my life in Poland, I spelt it by “K” not by “C” as English language background people do. So, for me it was always Spektrum, not Spectrum. I think German people will know what I mean.
Spektrum & Spektrumlab was making more sense than Spectrum. Furthermore, it was even looking more natural.
For some completely unknown for me reason, I was completely unaware of the fact that it creates some serious domain name challenges and issues.
You are typing by “C” not by “K” and you are landing on a different planet. So be aware, my Spektrumlab is by K!
So back to what I was saying about Spektrum and Spectrum.
In British English: The spectrum is the range of different colours which is produced when light passes through a glass prism or through a drop of water. So, is the Polish or German meaning of Spektrum.
Also, the rainbow shows the colours in the spectrum. Copycat of Spektrum IMO.
A Spektrum is a range of a particular type of things.
A Spektrum is a range of light waves or radio waves as well.
A mass Spektrum, radio Spektrum, or electromagnetic Spektrum.
And there’s more! Spektrum – Spectrum represents not just colours or waves but also a range of positions, opinions, and ideas. It’s like a beautiful tapestry of diverse objects and thoughts weaving together. Inviting to type KKKK – Spektrum.
In Perth:
After post-graduating from RMIT and obtaining “Graduate Certificate in Blockchain Enabled Business” and “Developing AI Strategy”, I decided to run a website dedicated to emerging technologies. Firstly, the blogs came to my mind. Then Spektrumlab Pty Ltd was registered. Again, “K” like Korneluk and “K” like Spektrumlab!
Both spellings are truly beautiful, and they mean precisely the same thing. “Spectrum” is the English translation of “Spektrum,” and vice versa! It’s like a delightful dance between languages, where “Spektrum” shines in Polish and German.
So, to my dear readers, followers, and any language enthusiasts, don’t get caught up in the spelling trap. Instead, let’s celebrate the beauty of both “Spektrum” and “Spectrum.” They both represent a world of possibilities, a broad expanse of knowledge, and a colourful range of experiences.
Conclusion and last thoughts:
Learning languages, travelling across the globe, or just changing a VPN location we’ll uncover more extraordinary connections, just like how “Spektrum” and “Spectrum” intertwine in meaning across different languages.
The internet is our canvas, and the potential is limitless. But bear in mind this website is a Spektrumlab, not a Spectrumlab. The URL of this website is precise and completely different from Spectrum.
Spektrum is Spektrum, and Spektrumlab is Spektrumlab. I wish and hope it is now far clearer and more obvious.

PS.
I asked one of the popular LLM model 1(ChatGPT 3.5) to compose a short poem titled: Spektrum and Spectrum.
And this is what the enthusiastic model said to me:
Oh, fair denizens of the digital realm,
Lend your ears to a tale that does overwhelm,
A website of wonder, innovation, and light,
Where English users often mistype, to our delight.
Spektrum, the name that seeks its abode,
Yet Spectrum they utter, ’tis a curious ode,
Two letters amiss, and a world apart,
In spelling’s dance, they play a merry part.
To quell this quandary, a plan we conceive,
A friendly, funny notion, you shall perceive,
In verse, we weave a tale of mirth,
To help them discern the correct domain’s worth.
“Spektrum or Spectrum, that is a question,
To venture forth, you need some direction.
But fear not, dear guests, for we shall guide,
Through poetic riddles, the truth we’ll provide.
When typing swift, as fingers prance,
Do heed these words, give them a chance:
If ‘e’ comes before ‘t’, then you’ll agree,
Spektrum it is, the domain you shall see.
Spectrum, the other, with ‘u’ in between,
A common mistake, ’tis easily seen.
Yet worry not, for we welcome all,
To our lab of wonders, come one, come all!
In jest, we declare, let laughter resound,
As we embrace the errors that abound.
For ’tis human to err, and in mirth, we find,
A bond ‘twixt Spektrum and Spectrum combined.
So, type with glee, whichever you may,
As long as you find our Spektrumlab’s array.
In this digital dance, where spellings twirl,
We greet you warmly, our dear internet pearl.”
